What is CyberStud Poker?

CyberStud Poker is a casino card creation from Microgaming. Microgaming does not have a true Caribbean stud game to play, but the rules for CyberStud are almost identical. For instance, Ace/King is the minimum hand that a dealer will qualify for both games.

Both games have a progressive jackpot. They both deal the cards in relatively the same matter. In caribbean stud, 5 consecutive cards are dealt to everyone and the dealer reveals one of the five cards.

In CyberStud, the same thing happens, but the dealer only deals himself one card and flips it over. Once you decide to call, the dealer deals and flips the other four cards to see who has won.

The overall strategy for CyberStud is the exact same as my caribbean stud strategy.

The only other major difference between the two games is the payout structure for winning hands which will be described further below.

How to Play CyberStud Poker

Playing this game is easy. Just follow the instructions below:

1. Make your bet by pressing the + or - buttons
2. When you are ready to receive your cards, press theDeal button
3. You then have to make a decision and either press the Fold or Call button
4. The dealer will turn the other four cards regardless of whether you called or folded
5. To get to the next hand, press the + or - and make another bet, then press Deal again.

CyberStud Poker Payout Table

This is where you will find the biggest difference between CyberStud poker and caribbean stud poker. The amount that you can win on a hand is very different between games.

Here is the payout structure for Microgaming Cyberstud:

Royal Flush - 999 to 1 payout, Straight Flush - 199 to 1 payout, Four of a Kind - 99 to 1 payout Full House - 14 to 1 payout, Flush - 9 to 1 payout, Straight - 5 to 1 payout
Three of a kind - 3 to 1 payout, Two pairs and lower - 1 to 1 payout

The screenshot above can be kind of confusing. It says 4 for 1 on a three of a kind. It is counting the Ante that you made along with your 3 to 1 payout.

They also have a different progressive payout structure:
Royal Flush - 100% of Jackpot, Straight Flush - 20,000, Four of a Kind - 500, Full House - 100
Flush - 50
